About Us

In The Air Catalog is a family-owned company based on the north side of Indianapolis, In. Nick, Ruthie, and Tamara Hoffbauer are usually here in the office, occasionally joined by Jeff Dean and Jeff and Tamara's dog Cleo.

We've been in hot air ballooning since 1980, when we purchased a birthday ride for Nick and he bought a balloon three days later. Ever since, ballooning has been an important part of our lives.

We enjoy collecting balloon paraphernalia, and the catalog was kind of our excuse to keep buying neat balloon stuff. Since 1997, it has grown into a full time hunt for great products to offer our customers. We take pride in our work and our products, and strive to only provide you with the very best service and quality at a fair price.
